I'm cleaning the house like crazy - it's so great to have unexpected time in the day.
Yesterday we hit Blockbuster and picked up Queer as Folk, season 2, eps 1-4, and three movies - one of the Sean Connery Bond flicks (I haven't seen any of them), something about eskimos and running that has subtitles (note - am not an indie film afficionado, and I don't remember the title), and something else... so, yeah, that wasn't incredibly helpful, was it? I'll write with a little more detail if the power stays on and I get to watch any of them.
Today we went to Starbucks and Safeway - I've never seen Safeway so crowded at 9:30 in the morning. We managed to run up a $70 bill and couldn't figure out how. Turns out we bought $23 worth of cheese. I suppose that would help. Plus a couple of fire stick lighters, and a dog toy, and suddenly it all adds up. Tim finished edging the grass (I'm not so good with the detail-oriented yard work), and brought in all remaining peppers and tomatoes that were ripe. The wind is definitely picking up - woohoo!
