I'm getting pretty exhausted, but am looking forward to going out to dinner tonight. We had a great dinner experience two nights ago at Mandalay, the Burmese place a couple of blocks from my house. We had peppery chickeny spring rolls, and tempura-like eggplant for appetizers, and I had a rice noodle dish with chicken, lettuce, peanuts, and egg, which was completely unlike pad thai in flavorings and wonderful. Tim's dad leaves tomorrow, and then I have a week of down time beforejanellie arrives. I hope to have the bathroom done before she gets here, but if not, we'll have fun tiling together :) mostly white tiles, with a border of different hues of blues and greens, and maybe some purple, with matching colors in the shower. Hope it doesn't end up being too dark... I really want the pretty glass tiles, but I know they'll probably be too expensive.
