kismet09I have cleaned out all of my email folders, in all of my email accounts. Everything was just getting too full. I had 150 messages in my work Inbox, 250 in my listserv folder (which is pretty normal - they just come so fast, I can barely keep up with them), and 40% of my Yahoo!Mail space full. Now I have no listserv messages, 21 in my workbox, and 22% capacity on Yahoo! Go me. And it isn't just procrastinating, because I've gotten quite a bit of work done, too, stuffing folders, making copies, etc.
There was a book sale on campus today. I bought 2 children's books, French and Arabic workbooks (to pull out pages for art projects) and Jonathon Kozol's Savage Inequalities for $3.50! I may just have to go back this afternoon with my checkbook, without T over my shoulder (as was the case this morning), telling me how much I really don't need so many new books :)
I'm trying to learn to use my webspace so that I can start posting more pictures of art projects and such to this site. I'm getting happier with my ATCs and collages, so perhaps I'll share a few. I'm also taking over as webmaster for the Prince George's Choral Society (i.e. my choir), so I'm getting to pull my webskills back out in full force - whee! Just in time for not having time to use them :)
