what's the best format in which to export your livejournal so that you can just paste it into a document and save it?

I use a downloadable LJ Backup client. It doesn't save comments, but it does a nice job of downloading the entries. You can filter/search the entries for keywords and such, too. I like it a lot and like having all my entries backed up on my hard drive, too.
