we have cable again, now that it's baseball season. i also have the new, cheap version of a logitech harmony remote control. tim's trying to build me a serial cable so that i can make tivo work with the cable box (i lost the real cable years ago - we'll order one online if his handyperson skills don't work out).

thanks to the snow day, i've watched the whole season 2 of mad men, and knitted two hats, and studied some scrabble. it snowed a few inches yesterday, then it was 50 today so almost all the snow has melted. fickle.
