Food logging

Hooray for frappucino season! Now that I'm mostly healthy again, I'm going back to my nutritional debit system, which I made up myself, in which I get a certain number of checkboxes for different food types (e.g., beef/pork, eggs, potatoes, fried stuff, mocha) over the course of a week, and can only use as many checks as I have. It worked well for the pre-wedding weight management, and so we'll try it again.
I was actually feeling reasonably healthy until I went on a 2 1/2 mile hike and it made my muscles hurt. That shouldn't have been so much walking that I was as sore as I was. Gave me a good excuse for hot baths and massages, though.
Today begins advising appointments. I had four this morning, and then am helping out at a drop-in advising session for an hour, and then have another five today. I always feel like I should be asking more questions, getting more information from the students, but then they get here, and we plow through the info and they leave... I guess I should just get used to the fact that I'm in a different role - these aren't the one-on-ones that I used to have with my staff members, these are quick, mandatory appointments that students are trying to get out of the way, and if I can get a little teaching in, then good for me.
Scrabble tonight. I scored 497 in a game over the weekend, so if my luck is still with me, I could do pretty well :)
