kismet09If anyone has been to Las Vegas recently and has suggestions on things to see, let me know - I'll be there for a conferencey work thing in a couple of weeks.
It's a busy week here - lots of planning for the start of the semester, lots of trying to catch up with students about their academic performance last semester. Still feeling lukewarm about work, but so it goes. At least I'm busy right now. Although much of my busyness is waiting for people to email me back, which is unexciting.
Cassie watched American Idol with me last night. She rarely sits and looks at the tv, so it was pretty cute. I think she got upset at some of the bad auditions, because at one point she turned her back on it and came and sat under my feet, the way she does when there are thunderstorms.
