I'm not good enough at making a bed to make it look neat enough for an open house. I need to stop watching "Designed to Sell" because it makes me neurotic. It's too hot to clean my house. If you put a pile of bills in disarray in front of me, I will compulsively sort them by type and put them in chronological order - hooray for ocd tendencies. Cold noodle salad is about all you want to eat when it's 90 degrees in the house - facilitated by boiling the water in the electric kettle so the stove doesn't have to be on for as long. The coffee place on my campus doesn't have plastic cups, so my iced coffee is sweating all the way through its cardboard cup, and making me nervous that it will pee all over my desk. My caffeine to food ratio is off right now. I'm too frantic to focus and do my work. Or to use line breaks.

Our bed-making trick was to buy a comforter that was overly large and stretch it over the bed. It hid any mistakes we'd made. Not that we were trying to sell a house at that point, but it sure saved time!
