Knives are sharp, onions are slippery, and now I have bandaids on two of my fingers on my left hand. But, the butternut squash gratin (with layers of onion and gruyere) was tasty, so at least I am vindicated in my injury.

I watched the very bad Grease reality show last night. Some of the musical interlude thingies are directly stolen from American Idol. The places where they're trying to be heartfelt come off contrived. But, those songs sure are catchy. There is a 42 year old who made it to Grease Academy (the next round of the audition) for the role of Danny, and a 17 year old who looks about 12 who will be vying for the role of Sandy. It would be so gross if they got cast together. Oh reality tv, why must I get sucked in?

I mixed Bear Naked granola in with my trail mix this morning and it is tasty.

My desk is already a mess and students haven't even arrived yet.

I only have to work two hours on Monday.

My life is full of random tidbits with no running plot line, thus the posts the past few days.

Yeah, I watched You're the One That I Want, too. I looked forward to it since November, actually. *hangs head in shame* I thought they were mostly pretty bad. There were maybe 2 Sandys and 1 Danny that I thought were reasonably talented and could have pulled off those roles. (Sunshine had a lovely voice but she couldn't have really thought she'd make it!)
