Today was Tuesday? I'm a little confused about where these two days went. I think it was craft fair aftershocks. Had a great time at stART on the Street, which was well-attended, and there was yarn appreciation, despite the 80 degree weather. Who knew I could wear a tank top and get a sunburn in mid-September? Was good to see [livejournal.com profile] geekpixie and boy again, and meet some of [livejournal.com profile] dharleek's Woostah friends. I wish I had more energy to actively market my little yarn biz. I think it wouldn't do too badly if either [livejournal.com profile] woolarina or I could just stop working and feed it a bit more. Two large boxes of yarn and knitted goods are now on their way to Maryland for Crafty Bastards (too lazy to find link, but it'll pop up if googled).

First presentation for first-year students today, with nice, low turnout, which is a good way to ease back in. Next one is in the res halls, and those are always better attended.

We grocery shopped tonight and bought tamarind concentrate. This is exciting. I love tamarind, and I love random, exotic ingredients to keep in my cupboard. We also bought these new papadum chip thingies in mango chutney flavor, but they are way too spicy for me (as I learned when my eyes started watering when I ate part of one - I wish I wasn't such a spice wimp sometimes). It's for a red lentil soup with coconut milk. Mmmm.
