Ikeeeaaaahhhh

Good thing that Ikea isn't a huge holiday shopping destination, or today would've probably been more painful. As it was, we picked up new light fixtures, a bed frame and matching end table, a giant cutting board a la Rachel Ray, and other various and sundry new house items. There was some finagling, but everything made it into the vehicle, and we made it home safely.
Took in pieces of Boston (Faneuil Hall on foot, and Beacon Hill as a drive-by tour) so that
maratcal could have a little look at the touristy pieces of my fair city. More housewares from Target, then a little nap on the couch for Tim, and some peanut sauce over chicken and rice for dinner. Ended the day at the Atrium Mall, with a little last minute holiday shopping and general wandering. It was busy, but not so busy that I ended up huddled in the fetal position, as has been the case on a few of the days of madness.
