one of the bad things about being in charge of the budget is always having to worry about money. one of the good things is that tim can't complain when i purchase tickets to Flower Drum Song on broadway this weekend, 'cause if i say we have the money, it's my responsibility to have the money :)

it's been way too long since i've seen a show, and this is an original cast, and that means lea salonga, and tickets were on sale, so what can you do.

if this doesn't make me feel better, i don't know what will.

that's so cool! i don't know anything about her except she made a self-titled CD a long time ago (i own it, but still have not listened to it yet). oh yes, and of course she sang a version of "Reflection" on the Mulan soundtrack (the normal version). which is one of my favorite movies, and favorite songs, of all time.

you are only the second person ever who i've seen who knows who she is! and funny, the first one is a girl by the name of Kate. :)

teehee. I'm a big musical theater fan, and she is just about the only Asian person whose name is at all big in that world. She was the original star of 'Miss Saigon' and was also Eponine for awhile in 'Les Miserables' :)

I'm sure I'll post my thoughts about the show after I see it!
