Three hours of choir plus one hour of Buffy equals six and a half hours of sleep and a sore throat and cough again. Sigh. I think I'll stay home tomorrow so that I can recover and be well when I head to NYC this weekend. Plus I have to do laundry and catch up on nervous stuff. It should be a fun trip, full of relaxing and playing Scrabble, even if it is supposed to snow on Friday.

make webpage for Knit Hat experiment
ATCs Galore project (to be sent the 10th)
Window View (past due already)
Circle Journey (needs to go out tomorrow)
Cheese (packed up, need to ship)
Art Envelope of Goodness (send by the 19th)
Wishlists III and V
Altered Purse RR (to do tonight)

Longterm:
Handwriting ATCs (20)
arizabif's art object thingie

is that it? i bet there's more. sigh.

Choir was nice last night. Sopranos were weak, but I knew what was going on and could hear myself being on key most of the time. Lots of Copland and some Music Man, so nothing very difficult, just random fun.

I'm cranky with my carpool situation. I'm having to drive more than I like to, and drive to the park n ride, which still freaks me out. I guess I have to get used to it, but I'd rather not. Maybe I'll just be a hall director for life. You rarely have to leave your apartment for that job.

I haven't gotten as involved in Nervousness as I thought I would. I'm just not an on paper artist so I haven't gotten involved in many ATC's or alter-a-book sort of LMAOs. I feel kind of bad that I have a membership and so many people don't now because of the server/ownership issues. Anyway, I have a goodly supply of yarn that I'll put together to send your way for the hat exchange. I'll note this when I send to you, but I've been doing a lot of felting lately, so if anyone would want a felted hat and there seems to be enough yarn that you know is 100% wool, alpaca, or mohair then I would love to do a felted hat for someone. I've seen some really neat ones that were done with some really wild stripes

cool! i will keep that in mind, and i'd love a felted hat, so maybe i can find a bundle of wooly yarn and have you do my hat :)

my involvement with nness comes and goes... i'm not much of an on-paper artist either, but i really love getting the mail, and i've done a lot of just sending people fun stuff (like the current wish list items). i put together a yarnzine awhile back, and i'm going to try to run copies for everyone participating here, too.

I'm going to label everything send as best as I can as far as contents. I have so many bits and pieces that I'll probably end up sending a very wide variety of things.

Would you want to set up an exchange? 2 skeins of yarn or equivalent and a copy of the yarn zine and I'll make you a felted hat or bag. If you pick a hat I'll knit it and send you directions for felting so that you can fit it for yourself if you want.
