Since we are moving in four days, I'm no longer allowed to go to the grocery store. We have plenty of food left in the fridge. We will play Iron Chef: My House with whatever's there, plus Farmer's Market stuff tomorrow. However, I've found http://www.grocerylists.org which will tide me over by entertaining me with others' grocery shopping escapades. The person who runs the site posts scans of people's grocery lists that have been discarded by their owners. The spelling on some of these lists pains and amuses me, as do the types of paper that they use.

I find this website bizarrely fascinating. I keep expecting my own handwriting to come up or something, with "Granny Smiths, rice, pasta sauce, TP, cookies" on it.

By the way, I know you're moving soon (me too, Monday) - I'll be out of town until probably the 28th or so, but we should definitely hook up soon!

Yeah, my list would probably be: cheese, apples, fake butter, tortillas, chips -- something boring like that.

We'll definitely set up some knitting/dyeing/getting together time once I'm up there!
