another work week
Apr. 9th, 2007 09:13 amI spent much of the weekend sitting in a chair with a box of Kleenex and a cup of orange juice. I went through a full half box of Kleenex. I was on Benadryl, Mucinex, Dayquil and Allegra in various combinations. Whatever this is has passed out of my sinuses, thank goodness, and into my throat. I'm more coughy today, and a little lightheaded. I did finally make the potaje (bacon potato) soup this weekend, and it was a great success, and made me feel a little better.
I also got my haircut. I feel like it looks the same, even though it's probably 2" shorter. And I cleaned the guest room some.
The next two weekends are action-packed: one Scrabble tourney, one conference. I need to start making nightly to-do lists, so I don't just sit in front of Buffy episodes all the time.
Tonight: finish putting away laundry; pack suitcase for tourney; go through pile of paper on guest bed, sort and file; put grey paper in bag to xerox on at work tomorrow; read through three letter words, write out hook 3-to-4s that still aren't 100% clear in brain.
