awake awake!
Sep. 2nd, 2004 08:21 amSo begins my new work schedule. I was up and out of bed by 6:45 so that we could leave for work at 7:15. Got here at 7:40. Am listening to old mix CDs in the peace and quiet of an empty Biology department, and I can leave at 2:30ish guilt-free. If it weren't for the waking up so early, this would be an ideal situation. At least I set my clothes out last night, and put a lunch together, so I didn't have to be very coherent when I got up. Of course, I changed what I was going to wear at the last minute, but changing the outfit and choosing an outfit are two entirely separate processes.
I don't think the dogs like the new schedule. Cassie was very groany this morning about having to go out before 7.
I also really love the climate at 7:15 -- I'm finally starting to feel Fall in the air. It was cool and breezy (NPR said 68 degrees in DC) and it made me think of stuffed squash and pureed soups. Mmm.
It makes me anxious to assign genres to the music on my Damon. I feel like some of the artists would be angry about the categories in which I place them.
