go away, tree sperm
Mar. 4th, 2004 11:13 amI have had a headache for at least part of each day since last Tuesday. My carpooler says that it's due to tree sperm, particularly of the hardwood variety.
I didn't manage to work out last night, but I made a lovely dinner of leftover steak, rice, and oven-roasted veggies. I chopped up some carrot, sweet potato, potato, and Vidalia onion, tossed em with olive oil, salt, and a bit of brown sugar, baked them for 30 minutes at 450, stirred em and added a bit more oil, and baked for another 30. Took them out, added a tablespoon of balsamic and some pepper, and voila, quite tasty, just a little sweetened and caramelized. Yum. For breakfast I had rice and Farmer's Market breakfast sausage. It was a good couple of meals.
Today I hope to finish tackling the task of organizing the 275 Biochemistry majors' files. I just took over managing them last semester, and they're in disarray, spread across two departments in a not useful to my sense of organization sort of way. (Apologies for the poor grammar).
Is that tool where you can look up lj'ers with the most interests in common with yours still around? If so, could someone send me the link, or the way to find the link? I've changed my interests around a little (mostly added more) since I could last find it, and I'm curious who's out there these days.
chompyheather entices me with evil foods. I am a sucker for evil foods. I will put my lunch in the fridge for tomorrow and partake in pizza goodness with her.
And now, back to the other department I go.
