Feb. 9th, 2004 02:53 pmOkay, so everyone is trying to make me feel better today. I've gotten friendly emails, parents praising me, lots of students to chat with at the Biology student organization. I ate pizza and an apple with peanut butter for lunch. Nanci Griffith is soothing me on the Media Player. Maybe one more cup of coffee will send me back into normal mode and out from under this dark cloud.
I'm currently going through advisee folders and getting them ready to hand over to faculty members. I've decided to keep a bunch of them, even though they have 40 and 50 credits (I usually pass them on at 30), because they're just such a mess that I want to keep them from having to deal with faculty (and vice versa). It shouldn't take two years of failing science courses to get you to realize that you're much better at History or Music or English. Poor students.
