(I also picked up two tickets to Assassins in May - row CC seats 113 and 115 at the Roundabout. I couldn't resist. Does anyone know if you can pick up will call tickets in advance of the date of the performance you're attending? I'm hoping that you can).

The short version of the weekend: I came in 2nd out of 56 in my division of the Scrabble tourney. Got a shiny trophy and $150. The long version will arrive in backdated entries once I get it written up.

Saturday night gathering

So I'm having some people over on Saturday. Here's the finger food list that I'm throwing around in my head:

Bacon-wrapped dates with apple vinaigrette
Prosciutto-wrapped melon (I love sweet/salt combos)
Roasted red pepper dip
Hummus
Pita
Raw Veggies
Spiced nuts
Cocktail meatballs
Cookies
some other dessert thing

Thoughts? Suggestions? Should be 15-20, with a fair share of vegetarians.
