(no subject)

I did a good deed this morning! There was a small dog running around in the streets around my house - hanging out in intersections, and otherwise being a nuisance. No collar, but obviously friendly and well-groomed. I called it and it came right to me, took it to my house, dumped it in the living room and told Tim to find its home. It is now back, safely, with its owner, about a block and a half from my house (so maybe it's really Tim that did the good deed, but I was the catalyst, or something). It had only been missing for about an hour, but it was still playing in traffic, so I'm glad that it's back and safe.

I forgot to bring my glasses to work. I was having enough trouble concentrating without said handicap. I'm nearsighted, though, so I'm just lazy and lean on my glasses to look at the computer. I'm sure I'll be fine without it, although the text in this little lj client window looks awfully tiny. I also decided to quit my radio show -- I'm just not getting as much out of it, and it's not as fun doing it by myself as it was having a co-host, and I'm not a huge fan of the studio setup. I just have to finish up my review of this Tori album, return it to the station, and then I'm done with my tour of duty there.

I'm in the process of making up a flyer for my choir's concert at the end of March. The title is "An American Celebration." I'm doing it on blue printer paper that has red and white stars. It's almost killing me to put this together. Anti-patriotic? me? Blah. It was hard enough listening to people whining at choir about having to tape the president talking on tv so they could watch it after rehearsal, now I'm designing a flyer that fits right into all this ridiculousness.

I watched 'Married by America' last night. Almost felt like I needed to shower afterwards. SO ridiculous, and yet easily addicting to someone who likes to observe interaction, especially when it comes to relationships...
