Jan. 6th, 2003 10:06 amI am back in the office. It's nice to have my Ethernet again, but I'm so ridiculously busy...
Grades came in today, so panicky students have started calling about their probation and suspensions. None of my students should be on suspension, as it generally takes a couple of semesters to get there, but since most of the faculty are hard to find right now, I'm the default person to help them put their academic careers on paper to prove that they should be allowed to stay.
I have 850 messages from my listserv that I'd love to be reading right now.
I have a bunch of other things that I should probably be doing right now, but I'm not sure what they are. So much for thinking things would get less confusing once I had one semester behind me. Plus I feel nauseous and generally not so great, which isn't helping much.
On the bright side, the snow out here is so beautiful on the trees...
