I have to get work done. I need to shackle myself to the computer desk, but it doesn't have legs, just wood panels, so there is nothing to which I could shackle myself. I worked for two hours at Starbucks last night (between knitting up a baby mitten -- those things are great quick-knit projects), but I've only finished 2/3 of a letter.

We are going out to fancy dinner tonight, which means I'm trying to save my calories and appetite. For lunch today, I ate a hard boiled egg (minus most of the yolk), half a cucumber, a handful of baby carrots, a slice of cheese and four crackers. I also biked a fast 3 miles in the heat and jogged up the hill a bit. I can run all of a block and a half without dying now, and could probably go further if I ever actually tried, but I much prefer biking.

I did make a CD, and I think I owe medox and snidegrrl copies of a CD from *last* summer, so they will likely be getting these some time in the near future. Better late than never, I hope! Also, pixiecrinkle, I still have yarn for you. Argh. Must go to post office.
