I had a coconut Whole Fruit popsicle for breakfast. Mmm.
I'm back at work, still feeling kinda weak from the stomach demon, but at least I'm here. I had a grand time at home yesterday, even if all I ate was rice. I knitted and knitted. I posted this in the knitting journal, but I think I'll put it here, too:

This is about 80% of the way to completion, and I don't know how many hours, but it has been many. I will spare those of you who read both journals by not repeating everything I say about her elsewhere. I'm now 144 rows in, which is practically 90% of the way, and I'm running out of yarn in the colors I want to finish in, but I'm confident that I'll squeak by. I'm not looking forward to finishing the edging -- I like the look of a crochet border, but I don't trust my crochet skills much. I have been finishing in the ends as I go, though, so at least there won't be too much weaving in when I'm done.
Tim is out of town right now, so I'm knitting and watching West Wing more than usual. I also read for an hour last night. I should really read more -- it's one of the few things that does a good job of putting me to sleep at the end of the day.
Weekend plans: start gathering things for yard sale; clean living room; bake pecan and cranberry tart; finish Charlotte; put away laundry; unpack suitcase from NY; knit-and-wine in Silver Spring; see a movie (Shrek II or HP); finish Amber Spyglass; 48-hour zine.
Good thing every weekend is a three day weekend these days.
