sleep good

I finally managed to eat the stuffed squash I made for dinner on Tuesday today for lunch (I started it too late Tuesday and didn't finish before we had to leave for choir. Got home at 10:30, ate some kettle corn, and went to bed). Stuffed squash and homemade cranberry bread make for a very autumnal lunch. They also made me want to take a nap on my couch, so I turned off the light and the computer monitor and tried to snuggle up on my little couch. I was apparently not quite tired enough to sleep on a 3 foot long surface, so I figured I'd might as well get up and post something.
So again this week, three nights in a row of being out til 10:30 every night, and not getting to bed until midnightish. The worst part is that both Tim and I have been awfully busy, and so the house is out of control messy. Plus, I left work early yesterday (yay!) and ended up rearranging my entire living room, with the help of a very ambitious friend with good spatial sense. In the process of rearranging the living room, though, the guest bedroom got to looking like a tornado landed. I have to get my TV set back up before Survivor tonight, so it looks like a full night of cleaning the blue room. I'm tempted to totally rearrange that room as well, but it'd involve taking all of the books out of the bookshelves to move them around, and I don't think I have the time to devote to such a task.
Mostly, I just need to have less stuff. And more places to put what I do have. Time for some books to get stuffed in boxes and put into storage in the garage or the gun room or something. Or maybe sell everything. But I like all of my stuff so much...
