definitely calls for a mocha

2.25, 1.79, 2.43, 2.42, 1.60. That's what my morning looks like in terms of GPAs of advisees. Sure, GPA isn't everything, but really, when 4 of those think they're pre-med, it's just setting me up for a rather painful 2 hours of work. Maybe I can talk them all into majors where they may actually find a 3.0 (or even 2.0 for some of them - I'd rather keep them from being suspended than keep them as BIOL majors).

Pre-med? Dear lord I hope they're freshmen. I've experienced a few friends going through the getting-into-med-school stuff, so I understand how important a good GPA is there. yie.

most of them are first-years, yeah. I did a lot of lecturing today. I feel way too young to be lecturing college students. Blah.

at least it's relatively early. I remember what Pre-Med was like, and nobody really told us until our Jr. year when we started the process, just how good a "good GPA" had to be.

OH, and good luck!
