kismet09i'm neglectful of the livejournal. here's what's happened since my last entry:
-- i went home to chicago, didn't see enough of my family but got to meet the sister's awesome macbeth performance and her new and improved shiny boyfriend. played a lot of scrabble, ate french fries every day.
-- back at unh, work is quiet with students gone, but i'm prepping for orientation and getting new students for the program that i run in the fall. grades come out monday, so i'm also readying myself for frantic students.
-- at home, life is the same quiet, peaceful happy. we have some house projects to accomplish this weekend, and this weekend is sandwiched between millions of busier and people-filled ones.
-- in health news, the back surgeon says we'll keep an eye on the curvature of my spine, but probably no surgery, just lots of exercise (meh, exercise). i also have a cold that has dropped my voice an octave or so. my family gave it to me, i think. they're all typhoid-ridden back in chicago.
-- etc: i'm reading a book about chinese food in the us, and will also restart harry potter pretty soon. i inherited a wii fit that i will break out today. i am so glad that so you think you can dance is back, and that the glee pilot didn't suck.
