I'll start with the letter of the alphabet, 'cause it's easier than scrolling back and finding the questions:
lunatopaz gave me the letter I. I am now to choose ten things that begin with I and write what I like about them. I will assign a letter to anyone who comments on this post, so that you, too, may waste ridiculous amounts of your valuable work time.
1. Incandescence, iridescence, illumination... - all the lighting-related words that start with I are pretty.
2. Illustrations - I prefer books with pictures -- even the small pictures that begin each chapter of Harry Potter made me happy. All books should have some illustrations.
3. Imagination - helps me create my own pictures for books that don't have illustrations.
4. Indigo Girls - my favorite band since I started listening to music outside of the world of showtunes
5. Introspection - were there a way to teach it in school (or anywhere else), I would do so. Makes life a lot more useful, if you spend some time actually thinking about it.
6. Indian food - specifically, chicken makhani, samosas, nan, and rice, with a mango lassi
7. Iolite - makes a really pretty gemstone.
8. Imperfection - it keeps things interesting.
9. Ireland - had a lovely visit there in November 04 (was it that long ago?)
10. Illinois & Iowa - I was born in the former, and lived in the latter. Both states treated me well, and I wouldn't mind moving back to select parts of either of them.
