pro-duck-tivity

I was so well behaved last night. Came home, packed up boxes to ship to [livejournal.com profile] woolarina, [livejournal.com profile] sharkycharming, [livejournal.com profile] lunatopaz. Sent them to the post with boy. Ate food, went to Whole Foods, got all the Secret Snowflake stuff I needed, met Jenn at Diesel, finished the hat I started knitting yesterday. Came home, got some packing done, started putting together the xmas cards.

Also, my new favorite line of greeting cards are by Edward Monkton. I had to buy this one:

toast
I want the whole collection. I don't know what I'd do with them, but they make me so happy.

With themes like toast and potatoes, I think that Chris would like those cards.

Not to talk to you on someone else's journal, but trout is intricately related to my conception of the holidays! Trout! Rainbow Trout, specifically. My mom's parents fishfishfish, and holidays meant "provision children with fish." We would come home with pounds and pounds of trout. Which we ate. Yum. I probably will pick some up when I go out there this weekend. (I don't know how sustainable they fish, but as far as I can tell, the dye from the catch-limit tag doesn't have any flavor.)

Well. There you go, that's how I feel about trout and the holidays.
