I worked for Amazon.com briefly in the e-mail customer service area, and the only acceptable ending (yes, real people do actually answer your questions) was "best regards". Personally, I always struggle with how to end mine. Sometimes it just seems better to not have one. In personal stuff I'll often end with "Take care" or just "-- Velvet".
