I will leave my Guess the Lyric quiz up for another day or so, then I'll post the answers. Check it out if you'd like to play along. So far, not so many correct guesses (are they really that hard?)
Today, I will finish a task that I started yesterday. This task involves going through some file folders in the department, weeding out duplicate paperwork, then shrinking stuff down with the xerox machine to 25% size, which means I can fit 8 pages to one sheet of paper, front and back. I have reduced the size of the files considerably, which is good since they have to fit in my file drawers. I like mindless organizational tasks like that.
I tried to start reading a book about starting a business yesterday, but it was so boring that I had to stop. Instead, I picked up 'Do What You Are' (it even has a website) and read about the jobs that fit with my INFJ personality type. It was pretty accurate in what it said. It told me that I like to help other people figure out what to do, come up with innovative solutions, have lots of new and different projects at any given time, and exercise my creativity (among many other things). All of these are true. Most of them I have carved out in my job here. Maybe I'm more interested in guiding other people in setting up their businesses than I am in tending to one of my own.
Edit: How much better is Mozilla Thunderbird as an email program than Microsoft Outlook?

Thunderbird has all the useful functions of Outlook, plus better filtering controls, no auto-execute by default, and many other really cool features. But don't take my word for it, try it for a couple weeks and see which you like better. Thunderbird is just as easy to use (again, YMMV) so it should only take you a couple days to master all the functions you would normally use anyway. If not, revert to Outlook and say you gave it a shot.
