hurricane gastroenteritis

this week could've been much worse in so many ways. as it all turned out, we had power the whole time, and i haven't been able to leave the couch since monday. perhaps my body heard the news that we might be out of school for a few days, and so decided it was allowed to completely break down. i've gone from fevers to chills to zero appetite to dehydration, with muscle aches and general exhaustion throughout. so it goes. at least i didn't miss much, since work was closed the whole time. we ended up having to postpone our trip to toronto (for a variety of reasons, illness only one of them). at least tim has been here to commiserate with me the whole time. hopefully he's hardy and doesn't get to share this bug with me.
