one more day
Jan. 15th, 2010 04:53 pmI'm surviving my week at home by myself pretty well. I even managed to take out the garbage and do the dishes and laundry. I bound off two knitting projects, and watched a few episodes each of Burn Notice and Six Feet Under. Next, I might bathe the dog! It's very exciting here in Maine.
It's strange to think of living by myself. I certainly couldn't do it here without a vehicle of my own and a willingness to drive it. Today it was almost nice enough to walk places, but not quite. It's still a little bit light out right now, though, which is a sign of the spring that will eventually get here. This winter has been mild, though, and perfectly enjoyable.
I forgot to do my usual new year's meme. I don't think I actually know what all happened in the past year. Time is blurring together. I will try to get around to it before February, and also post my holiday newsletter for those of you whose addresses I don't have and/or lost. The new year is flying by quickly already. I wouldn't mind if it slowed down a little.
