phone hate
Apr. 13th, 2009 03:19 pmI have to schedule eight interviews with students who I really like, but it means I have to use the phone. It has taken me 6 hours of avoidance to make the first four calls, and I still have to get the rest done by the end of the day. Bleh.
Which makes it even more ironical that we're probably going to get me a new cell phone today. Tim's about 2 years overdue for his free upgrade, and I'd like to stop hauling around Palm + Phone + iPod, so I'll probably get a Palm phone. That means I may be more likely to have my phone on if you call me, not that any of you call me anymore, since I've trained you out of the habit (or you hate the phone as much as I do, which is part of why we are friends).
I have a deep sense of foreboding re: the upcoming scrabble tournament. I don't know why.
