I've been in denial of this summer thing, but today it's 8am and it's already hot, and that's depressing.

I have the house to myself for a good 30 hours, but I think I might end up at the office because it's air conditioned. Either that, or I'll hide in my one room with a/c, but I don't know if I can spend that much time in just one room, even if the room has my laptop and the television. Maybe I'll go and do a rain dance and see if storms can burn off some of this heat.

I love me some thunderstorms. Unfortunately, my dog is a big weenie about thunder, and has spent 20 minutes trying to crawl under my feet and under the armchair I'm sitting in. I brushed her teeth to take her mind off the thunder. I don't think she appreciated my strategy.
