I'm headed into the Big City this weekend, and although we're setting out at the worst possible time for traffic, I'm excited for the journey. I feel a little torn between heading into NY for this little Scrabble tourney and installing myself on the couch and reading HP. I guess the book will wait.
Work-wise, I'm staying more focused than I thought I would, and may even reach my goal of finishing all letters that are ready to be finished by the time I leave for Dayton. Most of my students seem to know what they're supposed to be doing.
Study-wise, I'm making progress, but I'm impatient to shove more words into my head, particularly in the eight-letter word category. I want them to stick faster. One of my students studies memory techniques - maybe I'll have him give me a quick lesson.
Health-wise, I have done aerobic things three days a week for two weeks now, which is an improvement on what it could be. I've been eating reasonably. Last night, I made a rice/lentil dish with caramelized onions. I could eat handfuls of caramelized onions at every meal.
To punctuate the every day, we went to Harry Potter, I bought a new iPod-docking alarm clock, and I'm starting to get my brain around the upcoming craft fair season. Hat knitting should commence soon.
