I was trying to support the home team and watch the game, but I apparently should've just stopped after the first punt return. So uninspiring.

We are broke this month, so you'll probably get to read about a lot things that don't cost money, like studying word lists, dyeing yarn, and my cooking endeavors. Food is one of the things that I don't feel guilty about spending money on, since we have to eat and stuff.

This weekend is an example of low cost entertainment. Groceries yesterday, scone baking, spinning, a bit of TV, two games of Scrabble (four bingos for me in the first game, and OV(E)RNEAT and hOIDENS for a double-double the second). Today, 8 skeins of yarn dyed in the morning, and then cupcakes and a meatloaf baked this afternoon/evening. Tim made lentil & sweet potato soup, and prepped some squash for gnocchi. I've been catching up on back issues of magazines, and finding lots of good recipes, but many of them are out of season - this is the major downfall of reading July's magazines, for example, in January. Soon, maybe I'll start to organize all of the pages that sit next to the bed, torn out of magazines.

I'm also trying to get a handle on iTunes organization. I've burned about 30 CDs this weekend that hadn't made it on to the hard drive yet, and the song total is brushing the 10K mark. I even managed to get 257 Grey's Anatomy songs cataloged and in a vague sense of order.
