already Monday
Jul. 31st, 2006 07:49 amThe fiber fest was more of a success in terms of hanging out with people than necesarily selling yarn, but I suppose that's okay. I did make some money, and I did it while sitting outside and spinning for most of the day, and it was a nice day for that. Plus, I got the Biggest Iced Coffee Ever, and that made it less bad. The fabulous
geekpixie showed up, spinning wheel in hand, and helped
dharleenk and I with some of the questions that get older and older as craft fairing goes on. There was only one allusion to Sleeping Beauty all day, which surprised me. We couldn't hear the music of the folk fest, which is the biggest complaint I have, and not that big of a complaint at all.
Now, I must find a crock pot such that I can start making more yarns without heating up the whole house. I may hit the thrift stores today or tomorrow. I miss dyeing.
