I'm ready for work
Jun. 22nd, 2006 07:29 amThis is problematic. It's not yet 730, I don't start work til 9, it takes me 7 minutes to get there from home, and I'm "not allowed" to leave early. Even if I get in at 745, I'm stuck there until 5. So, I will watch Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels, possibly rewatch some of the dancers from my new summer tv show, and otherwise sit about.
I took blueberries to work for lunch the other day. I remembered taking the little tupperware out of my bag and putting it on my desk, but couldn't remember whether I had eaten them. I opened my lunch bag today and there they were. Apparently I forgot to eat them, and forgot that I'd put them back in my bag.
This morning, I toasted myself a bagel, and then stared at it. Now, I love giant hunks of carbs as much as (probably more than) your average person, but this one just didn't do it for me. Not even the fancy Irish butter made it taste less than a carbladen hockey puck. Boo. At least the iced mocha fairy visited my house this morning, and I woke up to espresso goodness.
There's a restaurant in San Francisco where, if you have to wait for a table, they give you a free glass of wine. Rachael Ray says. Sweet.
Okay, now what shall I do?
