free food day

Yesterday, I went out to lunch at Bertucci's with a coworker. I had a cup of soup with sausage and spinach, and we split a pizza with caramelized onions and fresh mozzarella, which was really tasty for food from a chain restaurant. In my second piece, I bit down on a piece of metal, which turned out to be a staple or some similar thing. Manager apologized profusely, lunch was free.

For dinner, the girl came to visit, and we ordered Thai food. They were making me a coconut bubble tea smoothie (I FOUND BUBBLE TEA IN WALTHAM!) and then realized they were out of bubbles. I pouted a bit and settled for a Thai Tea. They ended up giving me my bubble-less smoothie for free.

I'm coming down with whatever illness is going around at work. Sigh. It keeps me from writing more interesting things than this.
