November is a pretty page - it's a grey sky, lightly blurry, with lots of trees and two groups of people running around -- maybe soccer? It's Lincoln Park, according to the caption. Every year, I have a Chicago calendar (this year I have two - one at home and one at work). I can't find this shot online, but next year's images are here. It will always be one of my favorite cities. The skyline is so pretty.

What's November going to be? Lots of creating, in preparation for cmas and the requisite gift-giving. Trip to NYC (10-12), visit from [livejournal.com profile] u4ic (22-27), the slowing of the premed calendar, closing on the house (28), building the first fire in the fireplace, increased ingestion of stuffed squash and soup, getting fillings replaced and cavity fixed, packing, hiring contractors, finding renters, class registration, closure to UMBC work. I think that that should keep me busy.
I kinda like the new Rent soundtrack. Rosario Dawson doesn't suck -- not a whole lot of feeling in the songs, but serviceable (but then, I was never really sold on Daphne Rubin-Vega, so there was room for being okay with the new person). I hold out cautious optimism for the movie, which will be in theaters while [livejournal.com profile] u4ic is here, so perhaps I can coax her into going. Would be a rather long walk to the theatah.

I've watched all of Firefly now, and I don't wanna give Netflix the DVDs back.
