May. 26th, 2004 09:39 amWashingtonian Magazine arrived at my house yesterday, and it's the Cheap Eats issue, which is my favorite. First page I turned to mentioned a dim sum place in Silver Spring! Dim Sum! So close! I must try it out after I've recovered from my NYC trip.
I forgot to write down in my little book all the foods that I ate yesterday, so here they are, so I don't forget: 8 oz (bad) coffee; cheese, hummus, flatbread, apple; linguine with olive oil, garlic, fresh basil, broccoli, and chicken apple sausage; 1 cupcake; approx. 60 ounces water. Exercise: 4 1/2 mile bike (approx 7 min miles). Meant to lift, but got distracted by knitting.
Knitting for over 2 hours and only getting through 12 rows is a little frustrating. But the color changes are still pretty.
I think
chompyheather is going to beat my by about 3 points in e-Scrabble. I love close games.
Two days until NYC. French fries, theater, yarn stores, seeing my sister, staying on City Island, where I've never been, enjoying the long weekend. Mmm.
