no more domesticity for me

I took hip domestics off of my friends list and suddenly things are so much more manageable. I will go in and check on the community once in awhile, I'm sure, but I just don't have that much interest in helping random people reorganize their desks. I wish that I did, but alas, I will just have to devote more energy to you lovely people. Between that and helping to kick 250 people out of the yahoo group that I co-moderate, life feels a little more streamlined.

I am at work, trying to work, but it isn't going well. Instead, I'm randomly googling people from high school and college. I found out that one of my ex-RDs published an article in a college student personnel journal with her husband, and that she kept her last name. An ex-boyfriendish of mine is an Ambassador with the Dept. of State, and people with names like Ianna, Frey and Frenzy are easier to find than people with names like Dan Levine (Dan, if you're out there, stop in and say hello).

I am almost done pulling pieces of paper out of folders, and then I decided to make sure that the requirements I was stuffing in the folders were in sync with the current student catalog, and they aren't. The electives list is off. Since a new catalog comes out this summer, I'm not about to fix that right now, but I'm still a little irritated, especially since I'm the one who made up that form and should've checked it against the 02-04 catalog a little more closely.

The celtic music in my Windows Media Player has assigned itself under the genres National Music, Celtic and Blues. Hmm. No wonder I can never find it all at once.

I have yet to start packing for CA. I decided to work out last night instead, strangely enough. I benched the bar plus 20 pounds and couldn't lift my arms so much after.
