  • Bought groceries at Costco and Giant.

  • Went to the library and took out books on spinning and knitting, as well as Philip Pullman's Golden Compass.

  • Tried yellowtail sushi and didn't hate it.

  • Had a lovely weekend with good company and good conversation and dumb waiters with [livejournal.com profile] myowngrrl and [livejournal.com profile] batesmotel34, which allowed me to eat both swedish pancakes and ribs without feeling any guilt.

  • Drove the car to UMBC on Saturday unchaperoned without dying or running into anything.

  • Watched at least five West Wing episodes (dubbing them onto my own tapes without commercials).

  • Made tracklist for new CD (my own soundtrack for a comic book - nervousness project that was due back in November).

  • Turned soil and added mulch and peat moss to garden.

  • Enjoyed ravioli lasagna and Cranium with friends on Sunday (and learned just how far Centreville really is from College Park).

  • Almost finished the Klein Bottle Hat.

  • Realized just how busy we are for the rest of the weekends until June (starting this coming weekend: dinner with yahoo people and stitch n bitch - UMBC visit dat - choir concert - NYC for Spring Break - Philly for ACPA conference - April 9-11 free - Tim's mom visiting - Tim' conference in Philly - Sheep and Wool Fest - May 8-10 free - Scrabble tourney and choir concert - May 21-23 free - NYC for Assassins and long weekend - June)! And, I'm sure more stuff will be filled into the blank times as well. Must carve out times for myself as much as possible. Once I hit mid-May, though, I'll start taking work at home days, and a four day commute week always makes me feel more grounded and less insane.

Scrabble word of the day: GIRAFFISH.
