errands shouldn't take four hours

We went to Farmer's, which is back in its normal Takoma Park location, and bought pears (to make tarts and sorbet), eggs, four kinds of squash, haricots verts, and apples. We went to the tile store to return some unused tiles and grab more grout. We stopped for lunch at Potbelly's. We went to My Organic Market to get some oscillococcinum to battle my impending cold, plus some chocolate and rice milk (but not chocolate rice milk). We got inari skins and rice at the Asian gourmet market. We swung by Becca's house, petted the dog, watched the baby sleep. We went to Giant (yogurt, tortillas, juice, milk, various things on sale) and Petsmart (Oven-Baked Petsmart brand dog food). We left at 10, and just got home at 2! Where does the day go?

We had a great Scrabble game last night, with a score around 360-490 (I won). We each bingoed twice (PYRITES and SALTIER for me, DEVoURED and STiNGIER for him), and generally impressed people at Savory, where we were playing. I'm currently working on the top 500 most probable bingoes from common bingo stems - I would list them here, but it would take up a lot of room. It reminds me of grade school - I'm looking up and writing definitions for all of the ones that aren't familiar. I'm trying not to get sick. My limbs feel like they weigh 200 pounds each. I made two mix CDs. I'm almost done with my Noro scarf, because I'm almost out of yarn. I started a hat yesterday and watched 6 episodes of Sex in the City, season 2 while knitting, eating, and working on word lists. All weekends should be this relaxing and productive.
