Jul. 31st, 2003 09:13 amTim tried to walk Cassie by Sadie, on her leash on the way in from the vet, through the back yard, and they tried to kill each other again. Cassie broke open a bunch of her scabs, Sadie got to go to the vet this time, racking up another $300 or so in vet bills.
Sadie has three sutures/staples in her left front leg (as compared to Cassie, who has about 20 throughout her chest and legs), and her ear has a tear that doesn't go all the way through (so like a deep scratch, I guess). Of course, having a deep scratch means they can't do much to sew it up on the ear, as blood would build up, so instead they bandaged up her ear and wrapped bandages around her head to keep them on, and put a cone collar on her to keep her
from messing with the bandages, so now both she and Cassie are constantly bumping into walls. Jasper is beside himself with confusion, poor thing. I feel like I should fashion him an e-collar out of coathangers and duck tape so he isn't left out.
