i have a lot of friends on my friends list. when i read my friends page, i like them all to have different colors. right now, i have most of my communities with a white background, all of my friends from one listserv with a grey background... and then all of the individual people who don't have that in common are different colors. i think i'm running out of colors. how do all of you decide what colors to make the people on your friends page, or do you just read them on their individual pages, thus not needing to color-code them for your friends page view?
i played three games of scrabble last night. i printed out my 4-letter word learning list, and it's 1500 words long. i think i won't list them all here.
i received two packages and an envelope of goodness last night. one package was a camel wool/alpaca winter coat, almost down to my ankles, on sale from $240 to $60 that i bought online. i immediately started thinking about what color i wanted to knit the matching hat/scarf set. addict. i also rec'd a box of yarn - 7 skeins of woolspun, a thick-and-think bulky yarn that i can't figure out how to use.
finished all the sweater that i could. have two half-sleeves and the neck detailing left to do and ran out of yarn. thankfully, i found a spare skein on sale, so it should be on its way to me by now.
i don't understand how people go to work and then do things every night/on the weekend without breaking down entirely. here's my past week:
Monday 5/12: Scrabble til 1030
Tuesday 5/13: choir til 10, watch buffy til 11
Wednesday 5/14: Matrix til 1245, home at 115
Thursday 5/15: up late drinking and such with friends, sleep by 2ish
Friday 5/16: choir dress rehearsal til 1015
Saturday 5/17: scrabble tournament 9-530, choir concert 7-10, out drinking/celebrating til 1 or so
Sunday 5/18: farmer's, running errands, editing tim's papers. bed at reasonable hour (only time this week)
Monday 5/19: scrabble til 10
i am seriously getting delirious from the lack of down time.
am so sad about buffy ending. read the wildfeeds so i know how it ends, but am still looking forward to the ep tonight.
