Mar. 7th, 2003 07:48 amOne more day of being at home, but:
-I got my Paste magazine in the mail. I'm so glad that someone on lj mentioned this magazine, as all of the music within is stuff that sounds so interesting to me, and it comes with sampler CDs that have people like Dar and Josh Joplin group!
-I remembered that I do, in fact, enjoy reading as much if not more than watching television. I just finished 'Dress Codes' and am working on 'The Sweet Potato Queens...' - the epiphany came to me when I got irritated that the networks were being invaded during prime time, and I found myself watching America's Funniest Pets. Definite low for me. Must remember that it's okay to turn off the tv (or at least put CBS on mute so that I can keep checking back for Survivor to start).
-I can eat mashed potatoes and rice as long as I swallow some sort of acid-reducing dealie beforehand. I can't wait to eat foods that aren't white again.

janellie with me for at least a few days of that! Yay being spoiled by my family.
-Becca is coming to visit me, and I can live vicariously through her inability to stop eating. I think I will bake her cookies.
okay, off for my medicinal Coke product. Supposedly Coke will make my tummy settle more. Weird. Glad it has some purpose in this world.
