i'm here!

after much deliberation, and a serendipitous offer made by a friend, i am joining the ranks of the livejournallers. of course i'm doing this from my home computer with its sad little modem, instead of my ethernet from work, so this page won't be too elaborate yet. i just don't have the patience to do too much experimentation at slow speeds. i did change my colors a bit, and i'll definitely have to figure out how to change fonts and such, but in any case, i'm glad to be here, and to try another approach to journalling, since working on paper doesn't usually work out too well for me.

anyway, must go do some nervousing, and wait for the mail, and maybe unpack my suitcase from my trip to salt lake city... and play with the dogs, find a spaghetti squash recipe for dinner, watch buffy on f/x, send some letters, relax in my house... it's good to be back :)
