kismet09walked over to St. Mark's Place today to do some shopping and picked up Kasey Chambers, Lizzie West, Cowboy Mouth, barenakedladies (the new one), Antigone Rising, and someone Werner (not Susan Werner... another girl with guitar that I hadn't heard of) -- all for $29.26, plus I picked up the best of Guided by Voices for $10 at another shop. It's been a long time since I browsed a used CD store, so it was great fun to click through all of the cases. Also on St Mark's - Pommes Frites - a restaurant devoted to french fries and different sauces. We got a cone of fries with mango chutney mayo and roasted garlic mayo. Mmmmm. Off for more exploring...
