things that will not travel to Maine

Entertainment center that the TV sits on (too big for living room)
Stinky dog pillows
Old couch we found in the alley in Chicago (has served us well for 6 years)
Compost bucket (no way we're cleaning it out and moving it)
Buffet in living room (no good space for it at new house)
Dining room chairs
25' of chain link fence
1/2 box of laminate flooring

If you want any of these (I know you're jumping at the stinky dog pillows), let me know.  If you can transport them, you can have them.

I posted all of this to freecycle in both the Weston and Watertown groups (well, not the compost bucket or stinky dog beds).

that sounds good. and really, if there are stinky dog bed fetishists out there, i really don't want to know about it.

I want to want the entertainment center, but can I get back to you on this? I'm not sure we have transportation or if Zilla wants an entertainment center.

we can probably drive it in to you, if you end up wanting it.

P.S.

If you get any offers, don't wait for us.

do you mean indoor by the sink compost bucket, or outside large size compost bin?

hmm. the timing for transport probably won't work out, but Ro and I were talking about starting a compost pile/bin of some sort outside, and we might as well recycle your tub as cobble together our own! but you need to get rid of it asap, right? we're both in NYC for a while....

it's a great bucket, but the thing is, it's full of nasty, rotting food, and i don't think it'd be much fun to take it in a car, as it'll only get so clean. we'll definitely be getting a new one - they're a little pricey, but not too bad. I think the one we have is this one, or very similar to it: http://www.composters.com/compost-bins/compost-machine_8_1.php

i would totally take pretty much all of these (minus stinky dog pillows) but sadly live too far away (and have a freakishly small car)

boo.
